 Full Training and Field Board are offered at Fincher Show Stables in Carroll county in Westminster Maryland.  All inclusive field board offered, great for out of state owners that need a safe worry free farm to retire there horse.

Our facility in Carroll County covers approximately 50 acres. It includes 19 matted stalls. Nine (9) of the stalls are 12' x 12' and 10 stalls are 16' x 16'.  The facility includes an 225' x 375' outdoor riding ring, heated wash racks & a heated tack room. We also have huge run-in sheds with automatic heated waterers available for all field board horses.

Fincher Show Stablestakes pride in offering quality care for its horses. We use nothing but top quality feed and hay and use American Woodfibers sawdust for bedding. Unlike most facilities, Fincher Show Stablesprovides liberal horse turnout in fields that have plenty of spring, summer and fall grass for there is an average of only 20 horses on 50 acres.

Full Board at our Carroll County Facility Includes: ($1500.00 per month)

  • Blanketing during the winter
  • Holding for vets and farriers
  • Installing fly masks when required during the summer
  • Stall cleaned several times daily
  • Quality dry woodfiber bedding
  • Quality hay and grain
  • Grooming twice daily
  • Group turn out (Private andsemi-private turn-out is available)
  • Use of outdoor ring
  • Worming program

   All inclusive training or sale board: ($2250.00 per month)

  • Riding by Brad Fincher 5 to 6 days per week
  • Holding for vet and farrier  
  • Blanketing during the winter
  • Installing fly masks when required during the summer
  • Stalls cleaned several times daily
  • Grooming twice daily
  • Quality bedding
  • Quality hay and grain
  • Group turn out (Private and semi-private turn-out is available)
  • Worming program
  • Field Board at our Facility Includes: ($250.00 per month)

  • Monthly worming
  • Making appointment and holding for vets and farrier
  • Applying blankets in winter
  • Run-in shed and plenty of grass in every field.
  • Fed twice a day with quality grain and hay.  
  • Small group turnout 3-5 horses per field

  • Access to a wash rack and electricity at the run-in sheds.
  • Fed twice a day with extra grain and hay.

(Field board does not include the use of any of the barns or ring.)

   

 

Boarding Conditions and Requirements...

All new horses are require to have a negative coggins, up-to-date, appropriate shots (with shot and health records signed by vet). These requirements are to insure the protection and the safety and heath of all horses at Fincher Show Stables facility. Verification of these records are required prior to the arrival of all horses at our facilities.

Fincher Show Stables is unable to accept horses that crib or have dangerous vices. We can not afford the added expenses and liabilities associated with boarding horses that might be dangerous or have harmful vices.

Field board is only $250 per month.The monthly boarding payments are due by the 1st of each month.

Good vet and farrier services are hard to find. Fincher Show Stablesis fortunate to have excellent vet and farrier services. Boarders are welcome to use one of our vets or farrier or you may want to use your own.
