Hunter Crest's
Broodmares...
About Our Broodmares:
Buyers frequently ignore the broodmare's
contributions to the foal's capabilities. We here at
Hunter Crest Farm believe that the breeding /
bloodlines, capabilities and disposition of both the
stallion and broodmare are equally important in
producing top quality foals. We are slowly
acquiring quality broodmares with precisely these
qualities. We are also very careful in our selection of
stallions to mate with our broodmares. We believe that a
combination of carefully selected warmblood and
thoroughbred capabilities will help Hunter Crest Farm
meet its objectives of producing some of the best
Hunter, Jumper, and Dressage horses in the United
States.
Cruze and Daisy
We currently have a select group
of four top quality broodmares at Hunter Crest. We are looking to
slowly expand this collection as we find suitable
broodmare candidates.
Our current collection of
broodmares includes:
- Goose Creek's Showcase (Daisy)
- Goose Creek's
Reason (Cruze)
- Walldoria
(Dorie)
- Madame Fanette
(Maggie)
- Paris Gold
(Paris)

Goose Creek's
Showcase (Daisy)
Description:
Daisy has an excellent combination of
both warmblood for disposition and jumping ability and thoroughbred for speed, agility, and athletic
abilities. Her father is the internationally known Jumper Budweiser whose
lineage includes such spectacular stallions and jumpers such as Buggaat, Landgraf I, Voltaire, Cor De La
Bryere, Furioso I
& II, Ahorn, Gotthard, Alme Z,
and Ladykiller.
On her mother's side are some exceptional thoroughbreds such
as Secretariat, Bold Ruler,
and Nasrullah.
Daisy is a registered Oldenburger (DE 433 331558800) and was a "Premium Award Foal".
She inherited many of the looks and characteristics of her great-great-grandfather,
the racehorse Secretariat.
She is a well-muscled chestnut with the elegant head of her thoroughbred ancestors. She is a beautiful mover
with an excellent, calm disposition.
Her first two foals were fillies by Gift of Gold (2004 & 2005). They are very friendly, inquisitive, and outgoing.
They are both excellent movers and absolutely gorgeous. It appears both
should be well over 16 hands when mature.

a beautiful bay colt by Gift of Gold.
He has a beautiful conformation and is an excellent mover. At 5-months,
he
is a large colt and should be well over 16 hands at maturity.
